ORGANIZATION and MEMBER BENEFITS
All Cluster and Full members are members of the Industrial Advisory Board. The IAB makes decisions on strategic direction and Cluster selection. Within each cluster, members have equal voting rights on matters pertaining to project selection and management. Member companies appoint a representative to the IAB and representatives to each cluster as appropriate. Chairmanship of the IAB rotates on an annual basis.
Research Accomplishment Reports and associated Posters are presented semi-annually for each cluster. Minutes from the IAB are issued after each meeting.
Full members receive one free day of consulting by a multidisciplinary team of faculty and an annual visit to the member company’s facility to review CAFT projects. During the annual visit, member company’s scientists are able to ask questions on a confidential basis pertaining to specific projects.
All members have pre-publication clearance rights
Priority will be offered for Support Services, which include Analytical Services, and Pilot Plant (USDA and FDA approved)
All members have the opportunity to interact with graduate and undergraduate students and get a head start on recruiting them for internships and permanent employment.
